Wedding Flower Inspiration
There are so many things to think about when planning a wedding. The colours and theme of the decorations, confetti, stationery – the list goes on. This week, I’d like to focus on flowers!
Like many, I absolutely adore flowers and could photograph them all day long. In fact, when I organise styled shoots, I think the flowers can really set the tone for the table and look of the entire shoot, which is also true for the wedding day. The colours you choose for your day may dictate which flowers you go for. If you’re not set on any specific colours, you may choose your flowers before you choose anything else, letting the colour of the flowers dictate the colours of the rest of your decorations, including bridesmaids dresses and stationery. Of course, seasons will have a big influence on the colours you choose, with summer leaning towards more colourful arrangements, and winter leaning towards more muted and cool colours.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with many wonderful florists over the years, and these are some of my absolute favourites. From minimal, to bright, to muted colours, I hope that this wedding flower selection will help to inspire you in your choice of flowers for your wedding day.
