Tower Hill Barns wedding
Sam and Rob chose to get married in the beautiful Tower Hill Barns based near Wrexham, just over the border in Wales. Wales holds a special place for our family – we visit almost every year, and it was lovely to be back again. As soon as you see the ‘Welcome to Wales’ sign, suddenly the landscape changes. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there’s something magical about it!
The wedding was a true spring wedding, with daffodils decorating the entire venue. I loved the simplicity of it! Tower Hill Barns is a beautifully converted barn, with an oak framed dining hall and it really doesn’t need much to come to life!
I met Sam in the morning, whilst her and her bridesmaids where getting their hair done at Jades Hair and Beauty in Llangollen. We then travelled to the cottage adjacent to the venue, in which Sam and her family were staying. Not only was it super handy to be getting ready so close to the venue, but the cottage itself was beautifully decorated, making my job easier when it came to the bridal preparation photos! The ceremony room was an intimate space, perfect for the type of wedding Sam and Rob were hoping to achieve!
The large arch under the bridge made for the perfect spot for group photos, as unfortunately it rained for a part of the day. Luckily, the rain stopped as soon as we were moving onto the bride and groom portraits, so it worked out perfectly! The festoon lights were a perfect addition to the evening photos too. The evening tunes were provided by the Warning Tones.
If you’re getting married at Tower Hill Barns, do get in touch as I love to travel all over the country (travel fees are included in my pricing, wink wink!).
