Thrumpton Hall wedding

Laura and Matt’s Thrumpton Hall wedding was so dreamy! Thrumpton Hall is an absolutely gorgeous venue, with its history dating back to the 16th century. In later years, the house belonged to Lord Byron’s wife, which has brought many Lord Byron relics to the house, which can still be seen throughout the house to this day.

History aside, Thrumpton Hall and its stunning rose gardens are the perfect backdrop to any wedding. As you approach the house, you are welcomed by beautiful stone archways, with the front of the house overlooking a small lake. The rose garden is unlike any I’ve seen before, with all flowers in bloom, it looked like a beautiful secret garden.

The ceremony took place in the front room of Thrumpton Hall, followed by reception in a marquee at the back of the house. Laura’s dad surprised everyone with a choreographed dance together with the bridesmaids. Now that’s a way to end your speech! The evening finished on a high with some jewish dancing – this was a huge highlight for me. They’re definitely up there with the best dancing photos I’ve ever taken – SO much fun!

The wedding wouldn’t have been the same if it wasn’t for these awesome wedding suppliers:

Hair – Rock’n’Roller hair

Makeup – Makeup by Kel

Videography – Taylor made Videography
