Summer Hazel Gap Barn wedding
Katie and James’ summer Hazel Gap Barn wedding was to die for! They married in Katie’s family church before heading off to Hazel Gap for a wonderful reception.
Katie’s experience in event planning helped in putting one hell of a wedding together! From the stunning bridesmaids skirts, and mismatched tops, which complimented all of the bridesmaids individually, to choosing an incredible florist to do the bouquets and venue flowers, the attention to detail was spot on.
One of the main show stoppers of the day was Katie’s wedding dress – she chose a really fun gown by Kate Halfpenny from White Closet Studios, which complimented Katie’s personality perfectly. To finish off, Katie wore pink velvet heels with a blush pink veil by Sash + Veil, not forgetting the beautiful flower crown created by Louise from Number 27 floral design.
Don’t worry – I won’t leave the boys out! James wore a three piece tweed suit. The groomsmen all wore matching black suits with a waistcoat to match James’. It was a big old wedding party, with Katie having 8 bridesmaids, and James having 6 groomsmen!
It was a beautiful summers’ day and one I’m so glad I could be a part of!
